One month today dad 💔 It still doesn’t feel real. We said goodbye to uncle Bob today, dropped him off at Sutton Green Golf Club as he is staying with his mate Bill now until he leaves on Tuesday. It’s been lovely having him but I fear he has acted as a distraction and now I will have time to sit down and have some quiet time and it is going to hit me hard that you are not with us any more 😢 It was mumsy’s birthday today. She is doing so amazing bless her. We took her to the Oakingham Belle for a meal, Anton, Jayne, Steve and myself. You should have seen what she ate! I have no idea where she’s putting it all! I love you so much dad ❤️❤️❤️ xxxx

We said farewell to you on Friday dad 💔 It was a beautiful service. Anthony, Ryan, Steve and Mikle carried you in which was so brave of them. Father Danny led the service with such kindness and empathy. Anthony and Ryan delivered their farewell message to you with such courage and strength and Shanan read out the verse with grace and beauty. Everyone said their goodbyes to you and paid their tribute to you in their own time. We went back to The Coppid Beech Hotel afterwards and you would have loved your wake. We had a direction sign in the foyer, right up your street, and then we had all your favourite tunes playing to a slideshow of pictures of you from a baby right up to when you went into the hospice and we celebrated your birthday with everyone. We even had the pictures of you in drag hahahaha 🤭😂😂 The food was delicious and plentiful and we had a bar tab set up in exchange for one of your gold tees 🍻🥂🥃⛳️ In the flowers we placed some of your golf balls onto rods and we gave one each to the men and a flower to each of the ladies 🌹 Honestly dad, you would have really loved it, we did you proud 😊 I hope Roy came to meet you for that round of golf and I hope you are keeping an honest score 😉 Uncle Bob came for dinner today, he is enjoying spending time with us all. Mum is trying to be brave bless her. She has been surrounded by love but in quiet moments she has a tear 😢 But I promise we will look after her always. I miss you so much dad. I love you forever ❤️❤️❤️ xxxx
